About The Seminar:
As we entered to the last age (8.0), the humankind’s age-old question is getting tougher to answer each day: What is next for us? Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Blockchain, VR, AR like technologies are changing our lives dramatically. These and upcoming innovations will affect us in a faster and faster pace. If we compare how long it took for a new technology to be part of our lives: it used to take decades, then years, but nowadays, advanced technologies become part of our daily life in an extremely fast speed. During the last decade, the data technology companies are stepping ahead of the old school corporations in conventional sectors like Oil&Gas and Telecom. We see the same trend in the global R&D spending. Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Precision Medicine are shaping the future of Healthcare.
All these new technologies will strengthen the global competitiveness of the countries. Turkey, which aims to become one of the top ten strongest economies during the next decade should set and implement clear strategies for the technologies which will shape the future. R&D spending, high impact scientific research and startup ecosystem are the main drivers for a competitive future.
